The good, the bad, and the uglyThe bad: Craigslist’s pet listings have become a major draw for those looking to take their pet to the vet or other local animal-rescue facilities.
A Craigslist user named Peter Brand wrote in the company’s pet-related category, “In the late 1990s, I was searching for my cat after we were evicted from our home, and after months of looking for him, I finally found him a new owner, who had rescued him.
Unfortunately, after spending a week with him, he died.
I have spent the last 20 years trying to find the right place for him to go home to and was unable to find a suitable home for him.
I was devastated and searched the Internet for someone who could adopt him, and eventually I found this person.
I now have a very healthy puppy for him.”
Brand added that his friend is the owner of the beloved cat and said he was devastated when the cat died.
He said the cat “wasn’t very friendly and didn’t bark much.
I am devastated because he was my best friend, and I can’t imagine what it must have been like for his owner to find out that they didn’t have the money for him when they left him behind.”
Brand said he went to the rescue because he thought the cat’s owner would “love him very much” and the pet would be a “great companion.”
However, after he gave the cat to his friend, Brand said he “was shocked” to find that the cat had been given to another pet, and Brand was “completely shocked” when he discovered the owner was a person “who had been giving the cat away.”
Brand said the owner then gave the pet to a vet.
Brand said the vet had told him the cat would need more time to recover, and it was unclear whether the cat was “satisfied” with its new owner.
Brand also posted a photo of his new dog, a boxer mix, on the pet section of Craigslist, and said the animal’s owner gave it to him as a gift.
Brand did not say how long the cat has been with the new owner or what kind of animal the cat is.
Craigslist has removed its pet listings from its site.
Brand’s friend is a retired veterinarian who said he also took the cat in after the owner gave up on the cat, Brand wrote on Craigslist.
Brand was able to reunite the cat with the owner, but he said he has no plans to adopt the cat out.
Brand is not alone in his pet-oriented feelings, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A New Jersey woman called the website and found that her cat, who she said was about 4 months old, had been taken in by someone who wanted to adopt it.
The person who took her cat said it was a cat named Charlie, according the Times.
Charlie was “very friendly, had a great personality, and was very loving,” Brand told the Times in an interview.
He said the new owners had not been able to find an appropriate home for the cat and did not want to adopt him.
Brand described his experience on Craigslist as “a nightmare.”
He added that he “didn’t even know what I was doing” when the animal was taken in.
“I don’t want to lose this cat,” Brand said.
“It’s a beautiful animal, but I want to keep it.
I don’t know how they are going to pay for this.”
Brand’s story is just one of dozens of examples of pet-themed Craigslist pet listings on the service.
There are also photos of a dog in a crate, a kitty in a bathtub, and photos of dogs and cats that look like a mix of dogs, cats, and other animals.
One of the most popular posts is “Dog pictures in a box,” which is captioned “I am looking for the perfect cat for my family.”
It has more than 1,300 photos, including some that are “very cute,” Brand wrote.
Brand posted several more photos on the dog page.
He also shared his own pet photos on his page, which have received thousands of likes and shares.
Brand has a new dog and has no plan to adopt Charlie.
Brand told the Los Angeleno Times that he was trying to save a dog that had “no teeth, no nails, no coat, no food.”
He said he decided to find someone to adopt because he could
