Fox News host and Fox News contributor Peter Dooby said that he believes that the only reason we are having these problems is because we are a people that have forgotten our roots.
Doocy told viewers that “America is a land of liberty and justice and liberty is something we have to remember and cherish.”
He continued, “There is a lesson in our history, we are the greatest nation on Earth, and if we have not learned it and if the country has not become as free and equal as it should be, then I don’t think we are going to be a great country any more.”
“If you think that our history is good enough for a nation that has so many rights, it is not good enough.
We are in a very dark age right now and that is what we are talking about.”
Doocy added that the country was in a dark age because it had lost its way, and he believed that the nation was in trouble.
Doobys views were echoed by other Fox News contributors and guests, such as former U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson, and former U:New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
“Our country is in a crisis right now.
We need a strong leadership in this country and that leadership needs to be in this city and that needs to include Donald Trump,” Doocy said.
“We need a president who can bring together the two largest cities in the country and bring together people from all walks of life to unite us and be a force for good in this nation.”
“This is not just a question of the politics, it’s a question about what the culture is,” he added.
“It’s a problem that is not only being brought to the surface in the United States, but it is also a problem for our country.”
“I am very tired of all the talk about our country and all the noise and we are losing this very special place, the American Dream,” he concluded.
