A new survey from Pew Research shows that a whopping 76% of US adults believe the latest iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, and iPhone X are worth the $500 price tag.
The new survey also found that 70% of Americans believe Apple should charge for some of its latest hardware upgrades.
But while there are plenty of people who believe these latest upgrades are worth it, a growing number of people also want to make a purchase without having to pay much.
According to Pew, about 37% of adults said they wouldn’t buy a new phone if the price was $1,000 or less.
The survey also asked if buying a new iPhone was worth the money and found that only 25% of respondents said the price would make up for not owning a new device.
When it comes to smartphones, only 23% of those surveyed said they would pay more for a newer iPhone, and just 13% said they were willing to pay more.
However, a significant majority of people still said they’d be willing to spend more on a new smartphone if the cost was less than $1.
The survey also surveyed 2,000 people across the US.
The results of that survey were released on Wednesday.
