Pet food manufacturers are struggling to keep up with demand for pet food that’s been widely adopted as a healthy alternative to traditional pet foods.
Pet food brands have been facing pressure from consumers who want to feed their pets food that is more nutritious, healthier and environmentally friendly.
Pet food makers have responded with increasingly nutritious and affordable pet foods that offer more nutrition and vitamins to their animals, while also providing less saturated fat, salt and sugar, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
But some pet food companies are still struggling to find the market for their products and are taking on a new challenge.
In March, Pet Foods Inc., which manufactures pet food brands like PetSmart, Petco, PetSmart Plus and Petco Discovery, announced it was shutting down its pet food business in 2018.
The company said it had no plans to sell its pet-food business or continue selling pet food products.
Pet Foods is the largest pet food company in the world.
It has about 5,000 stores in the United States and Canada.
The pet food industry has seen dramatic growth in the past decade, fueled in part by the advent of the Internet.
Consumers now have access to a wider variety of food products and feed alternatives.
Petfood companies have faced pressure from customers to create more nutritious pet foods, especially since some brands are no longer able to source ingredients that are approved for use by the FDA.
The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry said in a statement that Pet Foods had not previously reported a pet food product shortage.
But in March, a new report said Pet Foods and PetCo, which owns PetSmart and PetSmartPlus, had a “major” shortage of pet food ingredients for pet feeding, with the company having to rely on third-party suppliers.
PetFoodCo, the largest U.S. pet food producer, also said in its statement that it had an emergency order for pet foods in March.
In the meantime, PetCo and PetFoodCo announced plans to launch a pet-care website this year.
